My Inspiration
It is hard to say where my inspiration comes from. I focus a lot on shape design and color, but I also focus on wear ability. I make sure that my jewelry can be worn for everyday use, as well as it being light and not too chunky or bulky. I also like to challenge myself by experimenting with different techniques, and I am always coming up with my own methods of creating jewelry.
My Materials
I sculpt everything I can from the wire and metal sheets. I create all my jewelry components by using traditional metalsmithing and forging techniques. I use a variety of metals, including fine silver, copper, brass and now 14 karat gold fill. I highlight the metalwork with gemstones and freshwater pearls. I love to find colorful and unusual gemstones that you cannot find just anywhere. It is so hard to pick just one favorite stone; I guess that is why I have such a large selection! I like to give most of my pieces an aged look to show off the wire wrapping and hammering of the metal, as well as complete the organic, artisan feel.

I am a sculptor. Growing up, I would create sculptures from stone and clay. I developed an interest in jewelry in 2005, and I've been teaching myself ever since.
